Default Problem with term sets

Ok, I have a forum wich haves both spanish and english languages available for the users. Working with the term sets has been mostly simple, but there's a part of it that got me stumped. Mainly is the way the top_X, latest_X and featured_X phrases are working. The way to translate this ones is harder than it should IMO.

As a suggestion for solving this problem:

Instead of one "Top {1} {2}" phrase and another phrase for "Active" and another phrase for "Read" we could have two phrases: "top read {1}" and a "top active {1}"

Instead a "latest" wich is hardcoded to be before the capitalized plural phrase, we could have a "latest {1}".

The {1} placeholder would show the value of a new phrase, that for each set translates the plural term, GARS_threads if you want to call it like that. I know we have a GARS_thread, wich holds the translation of the singular term, but we miss the plural one, and using it in this particular places would simplify translation for being gramatically correct. Besides solving a problem with not being able to translate a term and keep it's original value in english

I hope I'm making sense with this. I attach a view of some of the issues this would solve
