Default Publish module issue

Since all of the articles that I am placing on my site will be entered by myself and will be 'Read Only' I didn't want the article to display the "Published By:" in the header.

I deleted the module but it is still displaying the "Published By:" in the header. I looked around in the 'Types' and the settings but I don't see anything else that affects this module. Does anyone have any idea as to how to prevent this from being displayed?

Thanks.

hi,

in acp under gars -> types -> article type (or what type you use) -> scroll down to "editing options" and switch "show byline" to "no".

greetings

OK, I tried that but it didn't work. It is still displaying the "Published By:"

Well, I'm new at using GARS.
Are you referring to going to ACP->geek->gars->templates and then selecting Default Set? I don't see anything there that refers to Published By:. I did remove Publish from the Modules but it still displays.

If you are referring to editing an actual template, where would I find it? I looked through all of the GARS files and I don't see a gars_pb template, unless I missed it somewhere.

Go to the ACP -> Styles & Templates -> Search in Templates:
 • Search in Style: Search in all Styles
 • Search for Text: GARS_pb
 • Search Titles Only: Yes
Click the find button, then double click the GABS_pb template name, remove the following bit, and save:
Code:
$vbphrase[GARS_published_by] $post[musername]
