Default Couple questions before i renew

Just wondering what the latest version of GAL is, and I assume it works with 3.7 (but we all know what happens when we assume)

Secondly, if i use the GAL to turn words into links, if someone posts a word that i want to link, does it strip their link and replace it with mine or completely skip the link altogehter?

Example: Replacement word is Hosting

I want every word "hosting" to link to my hosting review site.

If someone says "hosting" and links it to their own site, will it remove their link, skip it, or totally screw syntax up

Thanks

The most recent version of GAL is v.6.0.8 last updated on June 16, 2008, and yep, it works with vB 3.7. GAL does not interfere with other HTML tags, so if someone posts a link, it is not altered; otherwise the HTML would become incorrect. Here are a couple of examples:

The first one (a word only) is auto-linked, but the second one (an HTML A HREF link) is not.
