Hi,

Im getting this error on releases and link DB.

My forum was at www.mysite.com/forum and then I redirected the domain to point to /forum

Ive gone into settings and altered both "Absolute path to images folder" and also "Full URL"

However none of the thumbnails are showing up as its till looking in /forum. When you try and submit a link it comes back with the following errors

Warning: fopen(/home/thefreebie/G7F4API9/htdocs/geek/gars/images/1220396807274585046.jpg) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/geek/gars/mods/persist/snap.php on line 69

Ive gone back into the settings and added /forum/ back into the Absolute path and its now letting me post without any errors.

To get the previous thumbnails to show, ive had to create a subforum called "forum" and then add geek/gars/images in which ive copied all the image folders across.

Is this the only way of doing it or is there an easier way?

You could use an htaccess file to do the redirection or use phpMyAdmin to look at the GARS tables for links and then update the entries to reflect where things now reside.

For example:
Code:
# create a backup first just in case
update TABLE_NAME set FIELD_NAME = replace(FIELD_NAME, 'find this string', 'replace with this string');
