Default how to overwrite

Hi,
I have uploaded the upload folder onto my webserver, how do I overwrite the original vbulletin files from this point? Currently they are in the 'upload' folder which is separate from my forums folder. Should I just move the admin, archive, clientscript, forum and includes files into my forum folder and let them over write the files there.

I am just nervous, I have never altered my forum and dont want to kill it!

also is it possible to do a main banner at the top of the forum and then along one side to have say 3 smaller square banners? I would like my ads to be similar to this site http://www.arbtalk.co.uk/ with the main ad on top and about 3 small ones on the side.

Thank you.

You do not overwrite any vB files. In the ZIP archive find the /forum directory and note how the directory structure is the same as it is on your vB board; plus there is a /geek directory. FTP the files inside the /forum (sub)directories into the equivalent vB directories on your server. Note that you'll need to create a /geek directory inside your vB /forum directory to FTP those items.
