Angry Holy Crap!

I was going to purchase GARS and got to the paypal checkout then decided to check on the currence conversion rate....

UK£ 19.95) British pounds = 77.5497709 U.S. Dollars

HOLLY CRAP!

$77.54 US Dollars is way too much. I paid $160.00 for vbulletin which was a fair price but for a links directory add-on at half the price is way too much.

I am willing to pay $19.95 US Dollars but not any more. Sorry...

Kev

Smile It's Called Depreciation

That's what happens when the US dollar depreciates. As an American, I never complained when the conversion was good.

Yeah, thats one of the drawbacks for the US Citizens of the depreciating dollar and the poor American economy.

You should complain to your government if you are unsatisfied.

The economy sucks, but not that bad. At least not yet. Current exchange rates say 1.5172 dollars = 1 euro.

1.5172 x 19.95 = 30.28.

Somebodys math seems to be a good bit off.

I pasted "UK£ 19.95" into google last night and it gave me "77.5497709 U.S. Dollars".

I just did it again just a few minutes ago and got this... "UK£ 19.95 = 39.646635 U.S. Dollars:

Can someone tell me what it is REALLY going to cost me in US Dollars for GARS???

Also I would like to know if GARS has these features...
URL checking, reciprocal link checks, status reports, auto-filling from meta tags.

Thanks, Kev

Conversion rates vary depending on the markets and time of day. Visit http://finance.yahoo.com/currency to see some plots.

Default Dollar all time low against Euro

More bad news for us Americans. This morning the news here in Bangkok reported the dollar was at an all time low against the Euro.
