Default GAZ with external Maillist

Can I user GAZ with external Maillist or with a imported list.
So I can send news to vb usergroups and to users there I know but they not registered in our forum.
We have a club (Verein) but not all Members of the club are registerd in our club forum. The not-registered club member also get the club news.

Have GAZ any way to do that?

This would be a nice feature request geek.

Adding a textbox in the admincp where the admin can manually add emailaddresses to get the newsletter.

well, it is something that cant make it for gold - Im trying to get that released so no more functions are being added, however I do not suspect that it would be difficult to do so Ill look into it for a future version

Any update on this?

I've seen the newsletter, a forum I'm a member of use it and I was very impressed. It would be exactly what I'm looking for, providing I could add subscribers who aren't members of my forum.

Has this been made possible yet? Even if it requires farting about with databases?

GAZ still requires forum membership. The only thing to do with the current version would be to add the person as a member of the forum.

How does GAZ get the e-mails though? Can't e-mails just be added to the database manually?
