Default Suggestions for TOC module

Right now, all Articles (or Reviews or whatever) will have the same title for the first page.
It would be nice if it was possible to set this per Thread.

Also, currently the TOC module allows only 1 level for headings.
This is a bit restricting for long articles.

Therefore it would be nice if we could do smth. like

[break=1 Introduction]
[break=2 Heading 1]
[break=2.1 Sub-Heading 1 of Heading 2]
[break=2.2 Sub-Heading 2 of Heading 2]
[break=3 Heading 2]

Which would then generate a TOC like
  1. Introduction
  2. Heading 1
    1. Sub-Heading 1 of Heading 2
    2. Sub-Heading 2 of Heading 2
  3. Heading 2

You can do custom first page titles now. I am still trying to figure out how I would impliment the sub headings. Would each sub heading exist on a page or are they seperate pages?

Can anyone clarify the comment above? I'm digging around, as this is a current irritation for us. Was this part of 2.1.3 or 2.1.4? If not, how do you go about setting the first page title?

TIA for any clarification!

NVM... Found it in the 2.1.3 release notes. Moving right along...

Ich habe es nicht ausprobiert, aber sollte mit 2.1.3 funktionieren soweit ich das sehe.

There was nothing to solve - it was a suggestion. I havent implemented the suggestion simply because I am not sure how to go about it yet. As for naming the first page - that has been around for a couple iterations now. Just edit the TOC modules settings.

Default First page title question

We finally got a chance to upgrade from 2.1.2 to 2.1.5 today. The ability to specify the first page title is working fine in the TOC module itself, but on the top of the first page of the article itself it still shows up as "Page 1". And it's driving Susan buggy as sometimes we have a single page article, by having a default "Page 1" above that it implies that either a) we're idiots of b) there is a second of sucessive pages that the reader can't see for some reason.

Is there some reason why "Page 1" would still be showing up above the article text itself even though the custom title is showing up in the TOC module?

TIA for any clarification anyone can provide...
