Default change forum to directory possible?

I have set up GARS as directory (among others :-)

but I see that there would be more option for this with GARS - to give users use of the listing as webpage. But that will require that they can get better link option.
Instead www.forum.com/t200-name.html (url-rewrite) they will get something like www.forum.com/name or www.forum.com/members/name ....

Is there a way to set-up script that will put the name into database-table and redirect link www.forum.com/name to www.forum.com/t200-name.html ???
WOuld be GREAT ADD-ON :-)

Thanks

You would need a custom rewrite process for that. Im pretty sure you could accomplish it with vbseo.

I wish I could help you there, but I know diddly squat about rewrite rules and such

Are you using vbseo's latest? Its FAR more efficient than the previous version
