Default Golden Gars Batman!!!

It is with GREAT pleasure I open up this release thread about GARS 2.0 GOLD.

Very few bugs were reported during the last iteration and this baby represents the vanquished bug version. Sure there are more things I want to add and tweak - but I then I wouldn't have anything to tease you with for the future!

The only thing really left is documentation. I have 5 chapters on the core elements, and I'll finish them up tomorrow. In the meantime - have a GARS day.

BTW: Please do not post bugs or try to troubleshoot in this thread. Leave the troubleshooting for the troubleshooting forum and the bugs for the bug tracker. Please leave this thread to discuss the release and to give your w00t and holler.

To install this version, upload the contents of the forums folder in the GARS 2.0 package into your forums directory (overwriting existing files).
Import the product-gars.xml file into your vBulletin product manager (overwrite if upgrading).
If upgrading remember that you should revert your templates and you also may need to rephrase your custom fields (edit each custom field and click save).

Thanks to everyone for your help and support.

Thanks so much for constantly hashing this Geek, it's really amazing to see your dedication.

please tell me, does following those steps for the upgrade (overwriting files) delete current tutorials, articles already posted? I'd hate to lose my current posted tutorials etc.

If you update you don't loose anything, only if you have the language phrases translated you should download before upgrading your gars language file and later reimport it.
And very important if you install the product xml double check you have choosen Allow Overwrite: "Yes"
Good luck
