Default Removing The Author Ratings

How do I remove the Author Ratings in the threadbits in forums I do not have any ratings?

I see the options to turn the Views, Comments, Byline on/off but nothing to turn off the Author Ratings...On the forum that I do not allow ratings it shows a -5% rating for all the threads - to me this looks pretty silly I know there must be an option but I just cannot locate it.

Turn off Authors can post ratings in the Type setting of the admincp.

It is - as a matter of fact all the options under 'Ratings' are set to 'No'.

Have you tried creating a new thread? I think the rating stays if it was turned on and a thread was posted. Even if you turn the rating function off, any threads posted before that time will still have the rating in it. It probably will not happen again with any new threads.

From my understanding once a rating is posted, you cannot edit it unless you go into the proper GARS data table and physically remove it.

Anyway for the title of the article to be bigger in the threadbit?

You'll have to change your styles to edit that I think. Or if you want to change your template directly so that only the GARS template changes, you can edit that. I would suggest creating a new style name replacing the one in the template and assigning a value in the extra CSS of the Style Manager.

If you are unaware of how to do that, I'd suggest waiting for someone with better template changing skills than myself to give you specifics. I can probably figure it out, but I'm no expert.

Walters spot on. The easiest thing is either editing your GARS_pb template.

Thanks for the info - I actually wanted the threadbit title enlarged so I found what I needed in that template - thanks again to you both.
