Geek Auto-Linker GAL automatically links keywords that users type in posts to advertising hover pop-ups.

I am planning to use GAL mostly as a dictionary type tool. The words identified will have their definition as the pop up.

How do I eliminate the link? All I want it the pop up. If I delete the link, then it just goes to a blank page.

As in http://# or simply #?
I tried both, and they both link to a non-existent page.

Please see this post: http://www.bloodbanktalk.com/forum/s...&highlight=DAT.

It has the word DAT in it.

Here is what I planned for DAT, and all I used was #. it still links to nothing.

Well, not what I was hoping for, but I made a new replacement and removed the link. Is there a cleaner way?

<a href='' class=' gal ' onmouseover='GAL_popup(this,"$gal_offset", $gal_width, "$gal_box_style", "$gal_description", "$gal_description_style", "$gal_title", "$gal_title_style");' onmouseout='GAL_hidepopup();'>$gal_text</a>

How about this as a replacement?

Code:
<span class='gal' onmouseover='GAL_popup(this,"$gal_offset", $gal_width, "$gal_box_style", "$gal_description", "$gal_description_style");' onmouseout='GAL_hidepopup();'>$gal_text</span>

That's not too bad, but... I like the image that showed up next to it before, and the box doesn't look right, for instance, I lose the title line.

Also, how do I clear the cache? Each time I make a change, I have to select each abbreviation and save it.

I changed it to this, but I still don't get the image to the left - but now I get the title again. Also where do I change the color? I don't want it in red, I'd like it to look like it did before, just not act a a link.

<span class=' gal ' onmouseover='GAL_popup(this,"$gal_offset", $gal_width, "$gal_box_style", "$gal_description", "$gal_description_style", "$gal_title", "$gal_title_style");' onmouseout='GAL_hidepopup();'>$gal_text</span>
