Default GARS Questions

Question:
I installed Ioncube in my site root directory and not my forum root. Is that right? Is it safe to have these ioncube files in the public_html directory or should it be before the public_html directy so no one can run an ioncube php script? Just try to avoid exploits.

Question:
My GARS forums doesn't seem to be XHTML complaint. Is there a way to make it valid?

Question:
I notice when I post as another user, it shows me instead of the user I posted as in the last post column. Can that be fixed?

Hey Tommy,

your installation of ioncube should be cool.

Im still working on template development, however most should be OK. A couple of the errors should have been sorted in 2.0 and some of the errors it points out looks like they are vbseo tage (google adsense tags).

The final issue is a known issue that I hope to have sorted in the next 2.0 beta (or the one after).

Thanks!

Ok cool. I was testing the XHTML compliance on my test board that has no adsense or vbseo. Just straight up GARS templates.

Thanks,

hmmm. Those google_adsense tags are not put in by GARS... they are generally put in by vbseo?
