Default GARS Custom Date Module

I have a custom module to put the date in (i.e. use it for release date) see here for example

If I put in a date, it doesn't show up with the date I put in. In fact, it puts it one day back from the date inputted.

Ideas?

When you edit it, does it show the correct date? Have you seen this across multiple threads?

Yes, when I edit it accross multiple threads it still does this.

i.e. I put the "release date" as January 25th and when I post the review it says January 24th.

hmmm... must be a bug with time zone displaying... make sure you post it in the tracker and I should be able to get to it soon.

Is there any way to "hack" it? Like change the date somehow to fix this? Or by doing that would it affect the rest of vBulletin?

Thanks

I think it had something to do with the call to vbdate in geek/gars/mods/display/custom_fields.php. I think there was another parameter to add to have it adjust for GMT offsets. Check there.

lol , I think my knowledge about stops right after I find the file you're talking about. I wouldn't know what to change. Have you fixed this in the most recent version of GARS?

Perhaps I'll just pay for the upgrade then. Does upgrading mess up all my customizations though?
