Hi morgan, I changed in one gars forum the usergroup permissions for example to usergroup B can close threads and delete posts.
But this doesn't work, please can you give me a hint where to look for? |

You can edit permissions for usergroups of particular forums via the ACP -> Usergroups -> Forum Permissions -> Edit. Make sure to check the Use Custom Permissions radio button.

Morgan, I know how to change the permissions, that was not the question.
The problem is, it does not work for gars forums, for normal forum it work. |

Not sure, try temporarily disabling all add-ons except for GARS and see if it works. If not, what do you see in the Moderation Tools section of the Thread Tools drop down menu atop of a thread and in the Moderation box at the bottom of a thread for a user in the usergroup for which you changed permissions?

If I create a new thread on the drop down tool there is an admin option to delete the thread. But after some time left it isn't anymore.

If it is there, and then later it disappears, check whether you have any promotions set that are changing the usergroup/permissions. There is nothing in GARS that should be taking away such permissions.
