Default GARS + vBA CMPS

hi all,

I wasnt able to get much help from previous posts so here I seek help ...

I am running vba CMPS with center+right cols config. When I enable GARS, the main foums page appears to be ok but the forumdisplay and thread display pages are messed up. All forums content appears to be launching in CMPS left colum. The regular CMPS right hand colum does not appear at all.

Is there a way to get these two products coexist peacefuly?

DO you mean that your regular forum pages have vba columns in them?

yes.

vba CMPS has 3 cols defined by default.
left-center-right.

I do not have anything in the left col show it does not even show up. My content appears in center and menus in the right col.

But when I enable GARS, the content shows in LEFT col. and is very distorted cuz the width is set to 135 for left col. The center and rights cols appear blank.

What happens to a forumdisplay page if you edit admicp->gars->templates->default set and then replace GARS_forumdisplay and GARS_threadbit to forumdisplay and threadbit?
That will determine if its just a template problem

I have attached the screen in #5 post above.
Notice how all the tables are shrunk to fit the first column (left hand).

I strongly advise you to disable vbadvanced on showthread and forumdisplay. vbadvanced is a good cms system but query usage is incredible and having cmps on every page will increase your server load. Also both vbadvanced and gars are using independent module system thats why you are having template problems. Even one wrong code in template will mess up your site. Thats why the best option for you is to disable vbadvanced.
