Default HTML not parsing right?

I've finally had some time to sit down and play with this on our testbed...
Whoa, a *lot* of changes from 4.8

There's a ton of things that I don't quite get yet, but I was able to sort out most of the outright problems except that even after I've turned on "Parse HTML" for the appropriate dictionary, I've got entries that are still showing up like:

HTML Code:
<b>Address:</b> 2901 Potomac Mills Circle
          Woodbridge, VA 22192 <br />
<b>Telephone:</b> 703-494-4532</p>

<b>Store hours:</b>
I mean the <b>, </b> and <br /> tags are actually showing up in the popup?

Que? Anyone have any suggestions? I've rebuilt cache, checked permissions etc. The links are showing up as they should, and they are poping up ok, but they just aren't parsing the html?

TIA for any suggestions/guidance!

Should have specified, I just downloaded a fresh copy this enening, so this would be using 6.04.

Under Permissions, does your usergroup have 'Can enter HTML' permission? Even if you see it marked as yes, punch the save button anyway.
