Default Using GARS as CMS

Hi,

I am building a site that will have several NEWS and REVIEW/REPORT sections on it and came across GARS to power these pages.

Do I understand it correctly that GARS can enable a custom layout/display per forum ?

If so, this would be great.

I also have a question on the link directory feature of GARS: will it download the previewpage automatically (and can the size of the preview/thumb can be configured) ?

I have tried it out myself on your example link directory, but cannot find the option to upload an image.

Is GARS fully phrased so we can translate into dutch language ?

Thanks,

Taco

Yes, GARS can change the layout on a per forum basis. There are a couple of examples here. The link directory (with the add-on) is another example, and it grabs the thumbnail from the thumb service, if it exists; otherwise the default image shows. There is no upload box; the 'Web Address' you put in is all you need, and yes, you can set max width and max height for the thumbs, but no, hard phrases till lurk in GARS though a number of phrases are phrased.
