Default Custom Fields

Is it possible to control custom fields on a per board basis?

I want regional area, with different regions within. For each article I would like to have a few details of the place, address, tel, email www etc.

Is this possible?

You can control on a per board, per forum basis. i.e. have different custom fields for different forums.

Can this be tested on a demo anywhere?

I want to create a board, with sub-forums. All the sub-forums must have the same custom fields.

Can admin control who can create new items with moderation?

THere isnt a demo availible.

Each sub forum can have its own custom fields and yes you can control who can create articles/comments/etc... and moderate submissions just as you can do with threads in vB.

HTHs!

Ok last question!

I have a single domain, but I've created a subdomain called beta.domain for staging/ testing of new products. I presume there will not be licensing issues to first install the product there, and once I'm happy and familiar with it also install it on the live site? (Note I'll be keeping it on the demo site, but the demo site is password protected with only me having access.)

THat should be fine as long as its not a public domain used for testing only.
