I recently upgraded my ClubXB.com forum to vB3.6.4 from 3.5.3.

All the default images that would appear next to my articles are now gone.

I have GARS v1

Have you tried resaving your settings and making sure that path is right? Can you provide a URL?

http://www.clubxb.com/

when I view source there is no src="xxx" in the image tag.

In AdminCP i have
absolute = /var/www/html/forums/geek/gars/images
which is acurate for the server

and
relative = http://www.clubxb.com/forums/geek/gars/images
but i have also tried
/forums/geek/gars/images

relative should be geek/gars/iamges, however the full url should also work. Which one is a gar forum? I have scanned several of your article forums and cant see a garred one

We recently acquired ClubXB and during the server move and VB upgrade it seems that any connection between GARS and our Article forums has been removed.

I guess I need to walk myself through setting up GARS from scratch to see where it currently stands.

Thank you for your help so far.

Any suggestions where to start? I have little knowledge of GARS.

I've purchased and installed the newest version of GARS.
The images still are not showing up and I have little knowledge of how the sections that were created before were merged with GARS.

I have read through the manual and I'm probably more confused then when I first started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

I've gotten to the point where I can create my articles to be posted to the front page and the images I upload work fine once inside the article but there are no images being displayed in the preview on the front page.

my image tag looks like this

Code:
 <a href="http://www.clubxb.com/forums/f17/5501-automatic-shifter-knob-replacement-lowering/"><img align="left" style="padding:6px" alt="" border="0" src="" title="scvscions's " />

Did you set your $url_to_default_image setting in the vbacmps module? Please post problems with the vbacmps module in its release forum as it isnt an officially supported modification.

Thanks!
