Problem with words that have & in them
Hi all
I have just installed the great software GAL on my forum. installed without to many problems I do get an error when adding a new Display name or saveing. Error is Warning: mktime() expects parameter 5 to be long, string given in \admin\GAL_admin.php on line 565 second one is regarding keywords. If i use the following as an example. Marks and Spencers works fine as a keyword. M&S does not. I have a few other keywords that have the "&" in it and they don't work either. Any ideas why any keyword that has & in it does not work?? Can you make sure that the end date is valid or empty? It shouldnt error out if its empty. It sounds more like there was text in there. Regardless, I have just put a double check in for the next 4.8 update.
Can you try M&S? & is the HTML code for & and IIRC vB translates the HTML entities. Let me know |

All the dates were just left empty, as i don't want them to expire. I am not sure if the standard field for month may be causing the problem, by default it has ----. But the fields for Day & Year are blank. The & works fine for the "&" now, just need to make sure that i include it for any future words/phrases. Last edited by paidtoshop; 12-09-2006 at 05:52 PM.. |
