Default GAL Installed Failed

I went ahead and installed the XML and then all the posts in my forum went blank. Of course, I uninstalled and everything went back to normal. This was done a new install.

Any Clues?

Did you first FTP the files to your server, and then import the product- gal .xml file?

Not sure, but try turning on display_errors in PHP to see whether PHP outputs a message instead of seeing a blank page, as that might give a clue. One way to do that is to add the following line to the top of the PHP code in the ' GAL Init' plugin located at the cache_templates hook (ACP -> Plugins & Products -> Plugin Manager -> Edit ' GAL Init' plugin):
Code:
ini_set('display_errors', true);
Also make sure you are using the latest GAL version: http://www.thevbgeek.com/glic.php
