It is a mod that works with vb.
This places a button called 'thanks.' When a user clicks on it, it places his username in a box right under the post saying that so-and-so says 'thanks' for the post. " [AJAX] Post Thank You Hack" Efil. |

I dont see any reason why it wouldnt. Just be aware that any template edits will also need to be done in their GARS counterparts too

All you have to do is apply whatever template edits your make normally to the GARS ones

Just to confirm, the only template I edited was gars_pb and I got the thanks button showing, the users who have thanked them and the total amount of thanks below the date, all showing in the correct place. It was different then what the edits showed, so if anyone ever has trouble, let me know and ill be glad to help.
I could only get all that to show up for the person who posted the tute, and not for anyone else. So the thanks button is only showing up for the person who posted the tute. at first i didnt like this, but now i think this is good, so im going to leave it. |

Don't forget GARS_userinfo templates.
Just after : Code:
$vbphrase[posts]: $post[posts] Code:
<!-- Start Post Thank You Hack --> <br /> $vbphrase[post_thanks_total_thanks]: <strong>$userinfo[post_thanks_user_amount]</strong> <br /> <if condition="$userinfo[post_thanks_thanked_times_on] == 1"> $vbphrase[post_thanks_time_post] <else /> <if condition="$userinfo[post_thanks_thanked_posts_on] == 1"> <phrase 1="$userinfo[post_thanks_thanked_times]">$vbphrase[post_thanks_times_post]</phrase> <else /> <phrase 1="$userinfo[post_thanks_thanked_times]" 2="$userinfo[post_thanks_thanked_posts]">$vbphrase[post_thanks_times_posts]</phrase> </if> </if> </td></tr> <tr><td> <a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=findthanks&u=$userinfo[userid]"><phrase 1="$userinfo[username]">$vbphrase[post_thanks_search_user]</phrase></a> <!-- End Post Thank You Hack --> |
