Featured Articles

I am using the Featured module both in Forum Display and ShowThread ...

What I would really like is a mod to featured.php that will limit the featured articles to only be pulled from the forum and subforums that are being displayed.

In otherwords, in the GARS forum, I would like to display featured articles from the GARS forum and GARS subforums .... I don't want to display featured articles from the GAL forum ...

I'm hoping that it is as simple as a good way to hack the following code???

foreach($this->settings['forums'] as $key1=>$value1)
            {
            	if ($value1 == $this->typeid)
                {
                	$forumids .= ",$key1";
:

Any help, thoughts, ideas, opinions, criticisms <grin> ... would be greatly appreciated ...

Cool ... I'm down to only two major features I need to get added ... this one and needing to figure out how to display GAB banners on a forum by forum basis <grin> ... then I'm set for at least six months <grin>!!!
