you can set the size of new uploads via admincp->gars->settings

are you saying its not saving via quick edit? Its working from here as far as I can tell so far!

DUH Never mind.. I first added to the template a fixed width and height then changed the size in the admin. So the template was forcing them to the fixed size. Got in a hurry and not thinking..

Thanks "The Geek" I have uploaded and upgraded as per the instruction but I didn't get about chmod 0777

I dont' know how to chmod 0777

Do you mean that I have to rename /gars/cache to /gars/0777 ????

I think you need to check "yes" in GARS > settings the 2 cache settings.
CHMOD means the right of the files, this can you change with your ftp program.

I have enabled module caching and cache settings via admincp->gars->settings

chmod refers to file permissions.

The server needs permission to write to that directory and those files. Depending on your FTP program, you may be able to right click the foles/folders and chmod them, or you may have to do it via a command line. CHMOD is pretty standard stuff, Ramses link above is to a tutorial on how to chmod.
