Default Custom field layout help

Hello. Im in need of some help here. I found that custom fields are NOT placed in a specially good way.

As it is now this is how it looks like.

check box 1
check box 2
check box 3
check box 4
check box 5
check box 6
check box 7
check box 8

I want them to look like this instead.

check box 1 check box 2 check box 3 check box 4
check box 5 check box 6 check boc 7 check box 8

I need alot of check boxes and stuff like that but when they are under eachother it makes everything realy nasty and enoying. Since i have 15 check boxes in one place and 10 in another hehe.

Is there anything that can be done with this ?

This should be possible, since they have done this at vb.org. I would like to know this as well.

In geek/gars/includes/ find gars_custom_fields_edit.php and gars_custom_fields.php. For both files find all <br /> tags and remove them. Now your layout should be horizontal in the new post and edit templates instead of the vertical layout.

Oh. Maybe I misunderstood what you were asking. Just for clarification, is this what you wanted (see attachment below)? *The picture below shows the new thread page.

It does. I haven't looked deeply into it but try the following steps:

in GARS_custom_container template find:

Code:
<fieldset class="fieldset">
and replace it with:

Code:
<fieldset style="display:inline" class="fieldset">
Let me know how it goes.
