howcome u got prior versions of the beta releases in the download section? shouldnt we just have 1 of each for 3.0 and 3.5?

The short answer is: THe downloader I wrote is loosley based on the Geekmart system (the download options are 'items') and I havent written the little delete sequence yet meaning I have to go into the db to remove oldewr copies. I couldnt be asked last night
The 'official' answer is: To enable our users to retroactively revert to earlier versions in the event of an instability
