You can use built in vBulletin Rss feeds with gars without any problem

Hi Mert!
Are the Rss feeds in gars 'per category' or is it just one feed for everything in gars? For instance, if I use it as a recipe database, and have categories for breakfast, lunch, dinner...can I have a feed for each one? Also, is there a way to have one feed for ALL recipes? |

What you requested is not included with Gars as i can see you request custom modules and probably custom fields to be included to RSS feed. I also agree that this may be a good feature. We need to wait Morgan and his comment on this but i believe it can be handled. I'll also check this.

The RSS feed generated by vB is not broken into categories by GARS. The feed is forum/thread based.
Here would be a typical link to get an RSS feed for forum IDs 1, 2, and 3: Code:
http://www.domain.com/forum/external.php?type=rss&forumids=1,2,3

Ahh, ok. So the 'categories' in GARS are not 'subforums'...is that correct?

Correct, GARS makes it so you can change the look and feel of any forum or subforum, but GARS does not create subforums.
