Anyone know how I can display modules within the first post horizontally to save space?
Thanks! |

But if I have three modules (each showing different custom fields), is there a way to align them horizontally on a per forum or per type (i.e. module set) basis?

You could create your own custom template to house them - then assign the custom template to the custom fields module to use. Is that what youre after?

I did not know that custom fields could be assigned to templates. How exactly are custom fields related to templates (from an architectural perspective)?

The custom field names (i.e. gars2) will appear in the first post like $post[gars2]. And as such, they can be included into the template where you see fit.
The limitation here is that some custom fields require formatting (i.e. thumbnail to URL, date, etc...) and as such they require logic (code) to process to format. This is pretty easy to do as well and is only required for some types of custom fields. HTHs |
