Default After upgrading from vBulletin 3.7 to 3.8.3 modules are missing

After upgrading to vbulletin 3.8.3 without any complications during the upgrade process, I just found out, that my GAZ installation is wrecked

Under /admincp/gaz_admin.php?do=displaymodules it shows up the gaz_no_registered_modules phrase. I don't know the exact output because I use the german translation The modules which were there before are now gone. The Default Module Set is empty too.

When I create a new issue, generate the data and want to preview the HTML page, the link only shows /forum/.php?id=29&prev=1. The "newsletter" string is missing.

Any help is appreciated

The problem doesn't exist anymore.

After checking the file gaz_class_core.php I noticed, that the statement

Code:
$this->settings = unserialize($this->vb->GAZ_settings);
was commented out. Probably I did this because of an error message before the upgrade to vbulletin 3.8.

After uncommenting this line I was able to save module and newsletter settings like I could before on vbulletin 3.7

Fortunatelly I had a backup from table datastore, so I didn't have to redefine my whole settings.
