Default I think I will stick to GARS and not get the vB blog tool.

Yes, I like GARS that much. Thought I would tell everybody that.

Carry on.

I will also stick to GARS no matter what, but it is no blogging tool.
I will probably buy vbadvanced dynamics as blogging tool when it is released.

It might also consider vblogetin if it hits gold here in August.

Anyway, I will definitely buy vbadvanced Dynamics, because it can
be used to more than blogs, and maybe also vblogetin.

The official vbulletin blog looks boring without any features.

IMO, the good side to the official vBlog is that it's going to generate a lot of hacks over at vB.org

That is clearly an advantage, yes, but experience has also shown
that building a site with vbulletin.org hack is a bit risky.

Development has suddenly stopped in even large and popular hacks,
upgrading of the hacks to new vbulletin versions is often very slow
and there are quite often XSS flaws.

So I have decided to use as much as possible from Thevbgeek and Vbadvanced
products and only use vbulletin.org hacks that is not absolutely necessary to my new site.

So therefore, I will not rely on vbulletin.org hacks making the poor vbulletin blog into a decent product.

Jelsoft is a clever company and even in the first gold it will lack some features i bet within couple next features it will kill all the other products out in the market. If they included all the features everyone is asking from the start then they would face delaying the release of the product since more and more bugs will be found.

I agree with henrikhansen and i don't also depend on any vb.org modification. I usually either code myself or buy a paid script. But it looks like Jelsoft will start releasing more modifications from now on. I depend on Sam but as we can see he is by himself and if he can't solve the family issue then a really important mod for my site will be left unspoorted. Thats why probably from now on i'll only buy paid scripts from solid companies who have a good support and developer team.
