I think you must be running an old version of vB. What version are you on?

3.5.0 so not up to date, no.

But according to the manual 3.5.x should be fine

I've got so many hacks and mods that I have no intention of updating for a while either.

Not all of them, and I have loads of my own template edits. I'm too busy to do it right now. If it works why fix it?

I would say though, that all my other hacks are more up to date than my version of VB. Never had a problem with anything ... except stuff that wasn't PHP5 compatible.

Hmm, seems that it is my version of VB ... I just installed a clean test board and installed GARS with no problem.

So ... your blurb says "for 3.5.x"

Is there any way at all of getting this to work with 3.5.0?

sadly, not really since it relies on VB's db alter class which was (apparently) introduced in a later version. Ill update the blurb and offer my apologies. I didnt know the class wasnt present in the original 3.5.0
