Default Release/Install Package

Make sure that once you import via GARS import system, you MUST edit the new Release Module Set and then edit the release module, making sure each custom field is assigned correctly. Its also...

Set a release type to a forum in the ACP -> GARS -> Settings and for the module set of the release type, add the marked module.

All settings were set as they should to be.
Mark and unmark / install and uninstall is working.
In Settings menu the forum is "assigned" to relase,
in release type marked module is right of content.

Checked all cache directories and cache files for 0777.

I tried a new install of release package after deleting all release entries.
Same issue. When clicking on number of installs blank white page with
the following message in first line occurs:

marked module not assigned to a forum that I can see.

On test server there are no problems, settings equal.
I have absolutely no ideas..

What else can I do?

Complete de-installed and deleted, checked phpMyAdmin database is clean and re-upload and re-install GARS. No way.
Added a new Type and Set with release. Went through all settings. No way.
Registered new Modules with other names but same .php included. No way.
ACP>GARS>Tools>Clean Orphans and other tools tested. No Way.

Allways the same message for these links /vb3/marked.php?do=show&t=6962

marked module not assigned to a forum that I can see.

Articles, Tutorials, Review are working fine. I'm really frustrated.

Did you edit the marked.php file? If so, what happens if you use the original version?

Only on test server I edited the /settings/marked.php - w/o any problems.

No, where I have this issue the marked.php is the original one,
reuploaded several times.

Please look at my previous posts what I have tried to get this working.

Are there any chances for debugging procedures?
Which database fields are altered by GARS, if any, except its own?

One Step forward.
It must be something with XCache (installed v. 1.2.2)

In XCache Admin Clearing field var#0 (only this field)
will let me view /vb3/marked.php?do=show&t=6962 once, not more.
Viewing the same link a second time, it fails again /w the above issue.

How the hell can this get fixed?

Some more information that maybe could help.
XCache writes with first click at above link "GARS Settings" in var#0
With second click the "GARS Settings" is unchanged. Sounds reasoned.
Checking the contents of this fied against mysql is to much heavy for me.

Try temporarily turning XCache off in the vBulletin config.php file and see if that has any effect:
Code:
	// ****** DATASTORE CACHE CONFIGURATION *****
	// Here you can configure different methods for caching datastore items.
	// vB_Datastore_Filecache  - to use includes/datastore/datastore_cache.php
	// vB_Datastore_APC - to use APC
	// vB_Datastore_XCache - to use XCache
	// vB_Datastore_Memcached - to use a Memcache server, more configuration below
// $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Filecache';

Of course, w/o XCache it's running.
When I had read in a post in this forum before I thought XCache is not a problem with GARS.

Also when I disable xcache varsize (xcache.ini > xcache.var_sitze = 0M) it's ok with GARS and release.

What I am asking is how the release add-on can be fixed to run with XCache?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the workings of XCache but maybe you can find something more about XCache on vbulletin.com or via Google.

Since my post #215 two days ago I have tried to find out what causes issues with XCache and
any php scripts and especially with vBulletin add-ons. But nothing at Google and vb.com either.

Resuming my posts in this thread the last days the given support answers - not more than once
a day - could not help.

As I figured out that vBulletin 3.7.x runs perfectly with XCache, GARS release has obviously issues
with XCache
maybe with other accelerators too and in fact this should be clear before purchasing GARS.
