Default Output of custom fields "stutters"

Hi,

I need some clues as to where to look to solve this problem:

I'm using custom fields to store email-addresses and urls. In the source of the page I find that gars seems to stutter, repeating the beginning of the output which then looks like this:

HTML Code:
<a href="http://www.reisespinne.de/Forum/<a href="http://www.villalankapearl.at" target="_blank">
and

HTML Code:
<a href="mailto:<a href="mailto:info@villalankapearl.at?Subject=Ihre Unterkunft auf www.reisespinne.de" target="_blank">
The single quotationmark in the beginning breaks the following link and the output doesn't really look fine and the links are not working.

Does anyone have an idea where I should look to fix this?

Thanks,
Jan

What type of custom field is it, what template did you choose for the custom field, if any, and what version of GARS are you using?

Hi Morgan,

I found the reason for the stuttering.

I use a custom modul in GARS 2.1.4 to display data like an email-address or a link to a website. The custom fields which I use to store the data in are textfields.

In my original version of the module the html for links was added to the $post[garsX]-variables. It was working fine until had to change servers and updated from php4 to php5. Things changed after that

Now I moved the html-code to the $bits-part and everything's ok again.
