Default Parse Error when GALS is turned on

We've had GALS off for awhile because I've been jumping though some hoops with our menu integration, that seems to be pretty much sorted out, but when I turn GALS back on I'm getting an error:

Code:
Warning: parse_url(http://) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in [path]/includes/init.php(293) : eval()'d code on line 33
on page

I've turned GALS off for now, because it's breaking the pages in FireFox whenever it shows up. I tried disabling our custom plogthreads system and setting the forum to a normal GARS type, but if GALS is on the errors still happens. If I turn GALS off the error goes away.

Anyway, give a shout when you have a second to take a look at the page and I'll turn it back on if needed? Thanks Morgan, hope you had a great weekend!

Default

That appears to be a problem/conflict with a non-geek plugin located at the init_startup hook. GAL does not use that hook, nor does GAL use the PHP parse_url function.
