Default GARs in a nutshell?

I've installed GARS b2 and still trying to understand it a bit.
Very basically, I create a forum to hold my articles or reviews?

Can I expect the upgrade from b2 to gold to be transparent?
Or should I just wait until gold to make GARS live?

You can use gars on live site. I am using mine since it was beta.

Configuring Gars is not so hard. There are couple steps you need to do. In your admincp you need to create types with your choices of modules inside it. Then you need to assign the created type to the forum you want. It is pretty easy.

Hey Steven - I hope you mean RC2

The jump between RC's to gold should be totally painless (for the most part!)

I did mean RC2. So upgrading won't hurt a bit? Sounds like my dentist.
It will make more sense as I dig deeper. It's just so new to me.
Thanks Geek and Lizard
