Default Changing Usergroups

Hi.

I want to check how the user group permissions work.

If I set it so that one user group can subscribe to the newsletter. If I move a user to a different group that's not allowed to subscribe will the newsletters be stopped. If I then move the user back to the group will the newsletter then start again.

I have set up a special user group for people who's emails are bouncing. I want to be able to move them to the group to stop sending email but once they have updated the emails I want the newsletters to automatically start being sent again.

You can select which usergroups are allowed to subscribe via the ACP -> GAZ -> Newsletters -> click a newsletter link -> Usergroups allowed to subscribe. The usergroups you select are considered when a new issue is loaded. If a member is in two usergroups, then the greater permission is applied. You can also use the ACP -> GAZ -> Subscriptions to search for the member and uncheck the box to unsubscribe the member from a newsletter.
