Thanks! That is definitely a start for me.

Any ideas how to do the following:

Automatically set the GALS keywords to the GARS thread title?

Automatically set the GALS text to the GARS post content?

Automatically set the GALS image to the GARS thread header/thumb image?

Remove the options to set these manually within the GARS post edit section?

Thanks a lot for helping me with this.

Custom coding really falls outside the realm of support and is not typically offered, especially for larger requests, but the location of the edit from this post is where you can do at least some of what you want. When you make your edits, be sure to clean the input so you do not open up a security hole.

Any idea how I can automatically use the thumbnail from the GARS record as the image for the GALS that is created?

You'd need to write some code to query for the GARS thumbnail and add it to the GAL content box.

Yeah, I know how it should be done but I'm not too good with SQL and PHP. Gone are the days when you could ask for a snippet of code in here and The Geek would give you enough to figure it out.

Its a bit sad that the support and development of these scripts is virtually non-existent. When The Geek was talking about what to do with the scripts I was one of the people saying to sell them to someone who would develop them further instead of making them free and having support come from all over the place, but based on the level of activity in here it seems I was wrong.

Sorry you feel that way, but custom coding really falls outside the realm of support and is not typically offered, especially for larger requests.
