Default Lost on GARS - database error also, please help

Hi all,

I've installed 2.1.7 on our vBadvanced run site: www.spiffymoms.com

I made a new forum, specifically for Article Testing that nobody can see except admin. I followed the manual as well as I could and when I go to click on the forum, I get this:

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.4:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT dateline FROM gars_marked WHERE threadid= AND userid=1;

MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND userid=1' at line 1
Error Number : 1064

Not sure why or what is going on, but I'd love some help please. I've installed it all, but have no idea where to even start with it. Do I just have to click on the forum I've specified as an articles forum to get to it? Does the forum have to show up on the forums home page? Or can I just have a link to it on my Nav Bar or something?

Obviously, I don't even know where to start. LOL Please help, thanks!

Hi Spiff,

That error sounds like it is from putting a marked module on a forumdisplay page (or another oddly configured module). Also, check the types setting for the Marked Thread Prefix and such.

You can check out the new manual which is far better (just not widely available yet) at www.thevbgeek.com/geeki

The forum doesn't have to appear on your forumhome page, you can provide a link to it just about anywhere.

HTHs!
