No - I ran it with my default vb3.6.4 test board and it does not work.

I changed the "Glossary" replacement to your suggestion:

Code:
<span class='gal' onmouseover='GAL_popup(this,"$gal_offset", $gal_width, "$gal_box_style", "$gal_description", "$gal_description_style");' onmouseout='GAL_hidepopup();'>$gal_text</span>
CSS definitions have not been modified - I'm using code from the install file.

As you can see from the screenshot, the word " test " is not underlined.

Geek is going to add this to the next version if you want to wait.
Hmm... I managed to get v5.0 beta 3 working but I don't see it implemented?

I have a feeling getting this fixed might take a while - perhaps The Geek is busy and can't attend to the board right now. I'd really like to get this working so I can start entering new entries while I have the time to do so. The Geek - Please provide me with a work around for both 5.3 beta & 4.81 with your next post in this thread, if possible. If I can at least get one of those to work right now, it beats having to go back and forth to find a solution every 2-3 days in between posts. Thanks.

Any ETA when you'll be able to look into this, Geek? Been trying to get a fix for a while now. I haven't used GAL since I've been unsuccessful at getting the underlined link to show up, which is my main reason for using the software (IE: explaining what words mean in a popup without the URL part).

Ok, I sorted this out and here is the solution.

First off, add the following css:

span. gal {
text-decoration: none;
border-bottom: 1px dotted #016798;
color : #016798;
padding:0 0 0 12px;
background:url(images/misc/exlinkon.gif) no-repeat 0
}
span. gal :hover {
text-decoration: underline;
border-bottom: 0px dotted #F8BF24;
color : #016798;
padding:0 0 0 12px;
background:url(images/misc/exlink.gif) no-repeat 0;
}

THen add the following new replacement:

<span class=' gal ' onmouseover='GAL_popup(this,"$gal_offset", $gal_width, "$gal_box_style", "$gal_description", "$gal_description_style");' onmouseout='GAL_hidepopup();'>$gal_text</span>

That will produce a popup without a link.

HTHs!
