Missing Modules

I recently moved my forum to another domain and noticed things were still pointing to the old domain so i truncated my datastore table (which fixed the problem). Now all my GARS settings are gone! Everything! All settings, types and modules.

The thing that really annoys me is the modules. I still have the cache files in the cache folder, but it's not reading them. I know its not a permissions problem because i checked and GARS didnt complain that it cant write to the folder.

How do i get back my modules or at the very least put the default modules back?

If you truncated the datastore table, then all the information pertaining to GARS there is gone. Sounds like you might need to set up the modules again. Before deleting any modules, try just saving them via the ACP and that might restore the information that was lost.

I didnt delete any modules. When i truncated the datastore all the modules disappeared.

I still have a database backup of the old datastore, but if i restore it, it will re-introduce a huge amount of problems that caused me to truncate the datastore in the first place.

The file cache with all the GARS information is still there though. Is there any way to import the information from the cache files to the datastore?

Nope, there is nothing to change the cache files into datastore entries. You might try entering into the datastore table the GARS_settings and GARS_modcache rows from the backup and then check this thread and see if that helps.

I restored those fields from the backup and modules still are not displaying (no registered modules appear).

Edit: Nevermind, today the modules are displaying properly again. I'm not sure why either, i didnt change anything.
