In showthread, the border around the thread and around a post doesnt show all the way around.

see attached for an example:

Also, its white right now, id like to make it darker. How do I go about fixing this?

http://www.nysports365.com/forum/art...ach-vs-gm.html

youll see it doesnt close up on the right side and at the bottom.

Its got to be some sort of broken tag somewhere.

In looking at the source through a validator, there are a few important errors to look into. Some are hard to find, but try to sort through them 1 at a time. I only went through the first couple (i.e. the missing </td> before the <tr> and the </if> bracket). Im sure those are with your navbar. THere are others, but I have found that with the validator, try and find pertinent ones first and then re=test, knocking them out one at a time. Then we can find if and where gars needs sorting.

HTHs

ok so i fixed up most of those issues, the issues that are still showing are for the footer and really dont impact the problem im having.....(the reason i know this is i put the original footer that came with the skin and my problems are still there)

The Geek 06-30-2007 10:20 PM

THere are still some oddities...

There looks to be a GARS module container with nothing in it aside from google adsense code. It should be housed in <tr><td> and </td></tr>.
There also looks like there are alt tags in your image elements with extra "'s. Im not saying these are the cause of the problem, but they may well be.

hey Geek, thanks for the pointers...ok all is changed except some footer issues that i cannot seem to figure out, but i know those arent causing the problem.....

Just a couple other minor fixes:

Error in table:

Another unclosed span. Divs shouldnt be nested in spans.

<td class="alt1" width="100%" colspan="2"><span class="navbar"><div align="center">
THere are still a bunch of errors regarding tables and closures, but its hard to decipher. None seems focused on the gars section though. Can you turn on your tmeplate name settings so I can check again?
