Most of my defined links are longer than one word. If one of these links starts at or near the end of a line, the link wraps to the next line and exlinkon.gif and exlinkoff.gif look out of wack. Can I adjust this or should I simply remove the background url from the CSS definitions?

bleh. Ya, thats ugly.

TO be honest, its the only quick solution. You could also tweak the replacement variables to include the on/off link. THat would force it to start at the begining.
