With what I want to do with my site... would GAL further help my users find their way

As I've mentioned a lot in the GARS section about what I want to do with the game reviews etc etc... couldn't I use GAL for when a user types a specific name of a game in a post it could be a link to that game's both review and other game specific information? Heh I think this is likely an obvious question, but if that is the case it can even further integrate my site's content once I get GARS installed :D :D

Sure. You can even create a new GAL entry when you post a new GARS entry :)

And then if you create a new GAL entry later on down the road... does it retroactively update for stuff that has been posted before that entry?

Yes, GALs are dynamic. They change the text at run time, not post time :)
