Is this possible? Link within DESC?

Lets say I am advertising THEVBGEEK.com with keyword GEEK. Naturually, all instances of GEEK would be highlighted and would show a popup box ("Sponsor"). Now, within my description for this particular advertisement, I wanted to add a link to this website (as opposed to someone having to go back and click on "GEEK"). But with the link, I wanted to keep track of the # of hits (I could just do a simple <a href="site"> but then I coudln't keep track).

Is this possible? If this isnt clear i'll add some pics to clrafy :)

so i did that and it works great except for one thing
if you have atitle prefix setup, it and you use $url, it will show the URL and the title prefix :'(
So for example
Sponsor GAL (http://)
