Usergroup exemptions not working?

Hi,

it seems like i'm having trouble with the GAL Usergroup exemption.

i've marked every usergroup for exemption for one category where my test-GAL is in - excepted the admins. so the admins should be the only group to see this GAL. Now i talked to a normal user - he can also see it.

did i miss something or is there a bug?

whats the field for exemption and the value set at?

I think I to have the same problem but I think I am not understanding it correctly. I am thinking this would make it so if I have paying members they would not have to see the autolinks. Is this not what this does?

Yes, thats right.

To NOT see the links, the user needs to be in an exempt usergroup AND have a profile field set to the exempt value.
