View Full Version : Upgrade problems (4.00 > 4.6)...

hey there,
originally had GAL 4.00 installed on a vB 3.0.3 board. recently upgraded the board to 3.5.2, and just got done upgrading GAL to 4.6, and it's not working. i followed all of the instructions for upgrading, and checked twice. all of the admincp stuff is there, and i can see all of the links we had previously listed in there, but they simply do not work on the front end side of things.
i've tried the debug > rebuild, and that didn't do anything (it actually runs VERY quickly.. i seem to remember it taking much longer before)..
any ideas? thanks in advance!

Is this for GAL PRO here or the lite version on .org?

Can you give me a url to look at with a keyword in it, and the debug code for it as well?

Under category, do you have each usergroup set to view it and no usergroup set to be exempt?

Well there is only an option for usergroups to be exempt, and none of those are checked.
Can't se any other usergroup option.

Sorry, what I meant was that the forums are all checked. (I was getting GAL and GAB mixed up :P )

I PMed you?!? (something wiggy with notifications here I think)
Bascially, the vast majority of your GAL entries are set to active: No.
Simply setting them to yes seemed to clear up the problem.

Thanks Geek, I was looking for something like that - anyway, nice work and keep up the good work with gadgets. ;)
