When viewing an article through GARS, the "give reputation" link is no longer available. I would like to be able to award rep for good articles, as my members find this quite important, but of course at the moment cannot.

Could a link be added?

its in the tools module. Otherwise it can be added with a quick template edit.

I didn't try this since i donot use reputation but open your GARS_pb template find
<input type="checkbox" name="plist[$postid]" id="plist_$postid" style="float:right; padding:0px; margin:0px 0px 0px 0px" value="$post[checkbox_value]" onclick="inlineMod.toggle(this)" />

Paste above

<if condition="$show['reputationlink']"><a href="reputation.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$post[postid]" rel="nofollow"><img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/reputation.gif" border="0" alt="<phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[add_to_xs_reputation]</phrase>" /></a></if>

This may be a temporary solution for you.

I have changed tools template to this:

<if condition="$show['reputationlink']">
<tr>
<td class="alt2" style="white-space: nowrap;font-size: 8pt;">
<img class="inlineimg" border="0" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/reputation.gif" alt="" /> <a href="reputation.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$post[postid]" rel="nofollow"><phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[add_to_xs_reputation]</phrase></a>
</td>
</tr>
</if>

To be exact I have replaced <a href="reputation.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$post[postid]" rel="nofollow">

and it looks like it works. is this corect fix?

this was original
<if condition="$show['reputationlink']">
<tr>
<td class="alt2" style="white-space: nowrap;font-size: 8pt;">
<img class="inlineimg" border="0" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/reputation.gif" alt="" /> <a href="#" onclick="reputation($post[postid]); return false;"><phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[add_to_xs_reputation]</phrase></a>
</td>
</tr>
</if>

I had the same problem. Reputation link doesnt work well. So I changed the code inside Gars_tools and its working.
So I went to change the code to Gars_comments and I could not save this template. When I pushed button save template nothing happened. What should I do?

What did you paste to GARS_comment and where did you paste in GARS_comment ?

<if condition="$show['reputationlink']">
<a href="reputation.php?$session[sessionurl]p=$post[postid]" rel="nofollow"><phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[add_to_xs_reputation]</phrase></a>
</if>This is what I want to replace in the of the false code into GARS_comments. I dont use the icon, only the phrase inside my page

thats odd - no template code would prevent a save as such. Did you get an error when you saved?

No, it didnt do anything. When I push the button save template the explorer loading bar loads forever...
And it is not a server problem cause it happens only with this template...:confused:

How many times have you tried it? For instace, I just created a new template and put that HTML in and its fine.

How about posting the entire HTML, you may be missing an </if>
