OK, I'm probably overlooking something basic.

I just purchased and downloaded and extract GARS RC2.

However, I don't see the installation instructions in what I downloaded!

Where are they hidden?

So it's just this easy?? :

1) Upload contents of the upload/forums folder to your forums (overwrite previous files)

2) Import the product-gars.xml file into your product manager (overwrite previous install).

3) Revert changed templates.

(Although for a first install, I don't need to revert, right? I never have understood what revert means. I'm sure it's something simple, but it seems like I might lose things because of it.)

Stachel pretty much has it in a nutshell. Remember, this is pre release material and technically should only be used on test boards.

Saying that, its a piece of cake to install and run and cant do anything to your board if it goes haywire anyway!

I am getting this error when trying to post a new tutorial.
Warning: persist_values(./geek/gal/includes/gal_class_admin.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /geek/gars/includes/gars_class_core.php on line 1032

Fatal error: persist_values(): Failed opening required './geek/gal/includes/gal_class_admin.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/rnizan/public_html/motorazr/forum/geek/gars/includes/gars_class_core.php on line 1032

How can I fix this?

Is this when uploading an image? Do you have geek/gars/images and its contents chmodded to 0777?

Thanks!

Edit- I got it working. Just disabled GAL and gallery and all is fine now.
