GARS needs a module market

GARS is an awesome product and happened to be almost exactly what i was looking for, but it can pose a problem for those who are not particularly well-versed in PHP (like me :(

there are a bunch of modules i want, as well as some other customization options regarding how i want stuff to appear. GARS is like a platform/OS type of application in the sense that it seems to be designed for other coders to come in and build add-ons (modules) on top of it. this i think would take GARS to a whole new level.

maybe there could be a forum setup here for people looking to buy and sell GARS services? i am mildly desperate for a few modules and would be really interested in such a service -- sort of similar to the paid service area on vbulletin.org. Geek, if you wanted to, you could make some money off such an area as well by helping to facilitate transactions and ensure quality of modules.

anyway, just my 2 cents. and if you're a vb coder who can make some GARS modules and are looking for some extra cash, feel free to PM me :)

Yea, Ive actually been searching for a coder to do some modules for the site, however its not as easy as you would think!

One suggestion is to actually put in a service request on .org. I dont think youll get too much traffic here compared to there. Fingers crossed I may be able to collar someone to start some more modules next week.

I'd love to see a module that has multiple fields, a radio button, and more than 1 combo box for more data options.

Does anyone have a sample that I can look at?
